GORKI, July 4. /TASS/. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on Monday met with China’s Vice Premier of the State Council Liu Yandong who visited Russia to take part in the 17th session of the Russian-Chinese commission on humanitarian cooperation.
On Monday, she attended the opening ceremony of a department of the Moscow center of Chinese culture and an exhibition dedicated to the 6th congress of China’s Communist Party.
In 2010, the Chinese side asked the Russian government to take care of a building in the village of Pervomaiskoye outside Moscow, which hosted the 6th congress of the Chinese Communist Party on July 11, 1928. The Russian side promised to lease out this building to the Chinese side for a long-term period.
Later, the sides reached an agreement to organize a permanent exhibition dedicated to the 6th congress of the Chinese Communist Party in that building.
