"I would like to announce that I have signed a special document on the quality of food products. This strategy of increasing food quality until 2030," he said at a meeting with his deputies.
"The strategy envisages improvement of the regulatory framework and monitoring and the establishment of a unified information system, where one can find out where a certain product was made and what it was made of, what supplements are used," Medvedev said.
The head of the government urged presence of high-quality products on shelves of national food stores. "A lot is being done for it, in particular as part of the government program of agriculture sector support," he said.
