MOSCOW, June 29. /TASS/. President Francois Hollande, of France, has invited Russian President Vladimir Putin to visit Paris in October, Russia’s ambassador to France, Aleksandr Orlov has told TASS in an interview.
"The dialog between Russia and France is active at all levels, including the political one," Orlov said. "Before the beginning of a meeting of ambassadors and Russian representatives Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held a bilateral meeting in Paris with his French counterpart Jean-Marc Ayrault. The French minister paid a visit to Moscow in April," he recalled. "The foreign ministers often hold meetings on the sidelines of multilateral conferences and talk by telephone."
Orlov said French President Francois Hollande invited Putin to visit Paris in October.
"Last time the heads of state met last autumn, when our president attended the summit meeting on climate change at Le Bourget," he said.
