MOSCOW, June 29. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold a regular meeting with Cabinet members on Wednesday, the Kremlin press service has reported.
"The agenda of the meeting includes the issue of socially significant results of Russian government performance and a number of urgent problems," the press service said.
The head of state holds meetings with the Cabinet on a regular basis. The last such meeting took place on June 7 and was dedicated, in particular, to an increase in wages of social workers. Putin has meet with Cabinet members eight times during the first six months of this year. Among the issues discussed at these meetings were improving the business climate, electricity prices in the Far East, preparations for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, the implementation of government strategy to ensure Russia’s stable socio-economic development in 2016 and measures to support specific sectors of the economy.
