MOSCOW, June 28. /TASS/. The Military-Industrial Commission is considering the issue of creating a federal information system of biometric accounts and operational search data, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the commission’s meeting.
The system will be created with the use of domestically produced software and information products and will speed up the holding of many procedures, for example, border control, "which is of course in the interests of our citizens, first of all law-abiding ones," Putin said.
He said the system will help "quickly identify those who tried or is trying to break the law for some reasons."
