Russian emergencies ministry to send another humanitarian convoy to Lugansk

It will be 53rd Russian humanitarian convoy since mid-August 2014

MOSCOW, June 23. /TASS/. Russia’s emergencies ministry will send another humanitarian convoy to the Lugansk region, the ministry’s press service told TASS on Thursday.

The convoy will set off from the Don rescue center in Russia’s southern Rostov region on Thursday morning.

"The convoy of more than 40 trucks will deliver more than 400 tons of humanitarian cargoes, including food products, medicines and building materials," the press service said.

It will be 53rd Russian humanitarian convoy since mid-August 2014. Over that period, more than 62,000 tons of humanitarian cargoes have been delivered to the Lugansk and Donetsk regions, which helped to prevent a humanitarian catastrophe in the region.
