MOSCOW, June 10./TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will address the State Duma lower house of parliament on June 15, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told a briefing on Friday.
"Plans are to discuss topical issues of global politics, in particular the situation in Ukraine, the development of the situation in Syria, fight against terrorism, integration processes on Eurasian space, multifaceted cooperation with leading players in international relations," she said.
"Lavrov’s yearly meetings with parliamentarians give a possibility to enhance the level of cooperation between the legislative and executive branches of power, exchange opinions on current international agenda, answer deputies’ questions, outline ways to increase the efficiency of Russian’s foreign policy course," she added.
