Egyptian FM confirms determination to deepen trust, dialogue with Moscow

MOSCOW, June 3 /TASS/. Russia and Egypt have determined the two countries’ determination to further deepen a trustful political dialogue on Middle East problems, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Friday after negotiations between Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, the Russian president’s special envoy for the Middle East and Africa, and Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry.

"During the talks, Moscow and Cairo confirmed determination to further strengthen a trustful political dialogue on urgent Middle East problems, including the promotion of the Arab peace initiative and the corresponding initiatives, which have recently been proposed by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi," the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
