No important decisions expected at OPEC summit in June — minister

Russian Energy Minister expects no decisions at the summit, as the situation has not changed since the last meeting

ATHENS, May 27. /TASS/. No important decisions are expected to be made at the OPEC summit in June, particularly on oil quotas, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said on Friday.

"This is a traditional meeting taking place twice per year. I do not expect any decisions, at least because we do not see any signals that any decisions can be made there. You know, since the OPEC is already above set limits and they might earlier decide on changes of their ceiling, the current situation is not different from earlier ones and hardly any decisions will be taken," Novak said.
