Moscow sees growing NATO activity across the globe — foreign ministry

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova says NATO is becoming more active even where no real threat exists

MOSCOW, May 26./TASS/. NATO is becoming increasingly active everywhere across the globe, even there where no real threat exists, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Thursday.

"No site on the map is left where the North-Atlantic Alliance would not become more active," Zakharova said. "Firstly, it becomes active at the sites where it sees no threat for itself or its member countries, and secondly, it is not getting active there where the threat does exist," she noted.
