MOSCOW, May 24./TASS/. The situation with security in Afghanistan is deteriorating, Taliban is taking under control more and more provinces in the country, Russia’s NATO Ambassador Alexander Grushko said during a Moscow-Brussels video link-up on Tuesday.
The problem of Islamic State (terrorist group outlawed in Russia) is also escalating, Grushko said.
"We find it alarming that a zone of instability embraces northern provinces of Afghanistan, bordering on our allies in the Collective Security Treaty Organization," the diplomat added.
