Russia, Myanmar to draft cooperation roadmap for 2017 — Kremlin

SOCHI, May 19. /TASS/. Russia and Myanmar will draft a cooperation roadmap for 2017, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters, summing up results of Thursday's talks between Russian and Myanmarese Presidents Vladimir Putin and Htin Kyaw.

"The two heads of state declared mutual interest in the development and diversification of bilateral trade and economic relations, as well as expressed an intention to work out a roadmap for trade, economic and investment cooperation for 2017," Peskov said.

He also pointed to the fact that Myanmar's president voiced "a readiness to welcome Russian tourists" in his country.
