SOCHI, May 19. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has a meeting with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen on Thursday.
While welcoming his vis-a-vis, the Russian president stated that Cambodia is long-standing and firmly partner of Russia in the Asia-Pacific region. The premier of Cambodia is known in Russia as "long-time and solid friend of our country."
"I am glad to the chance to discuss our relations in the format of the Russia-ASEAM summit and consider further coordination of our efforts in the spheres of foreign policy, security, maintenance of peace, as well as joint fight against terrorism and drug trafficking and surely we will focus on the stepping up of our trade and economic relations," the Russian leader said.
