MINSK, May 16. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said that he will hold a meeting with US State Secretary John Kerry in Vienna today.
"We will hold a bilateral meeting (with Kerry) in the evening in Vienna, and on Tuesday, May 17, a meeting of the International Syria Support Group (ISSG) will take place there," Lavrov told students at the Belarusian State University.
The foreign minister noted that he regularly discusses the Syrian crisis with the US state secretary on the phone. According to Lavrov, it is important to promote political settlement in Syria.
