SOCHI, May 11. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will continue on Wednesday a series of meetings on developing the country’s defense industry complex.
The meetings will be held until Friday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said earlier. They are attended by senior representatives of the defense ministry and also enterprises of the defense industry complex.
Putin said such a format of meetings, which was first introduced in 2013, justifies itself. More than 200 orders were formulated during these consultations and over 150 of them were implemented, while the others are being fulfilled in due time.
The first meeting of the series was held on Tuesday to discuss the results of using Russia’s Aerospace Forces and Navy in the anti-terrorism operation in Syria.
