MOSCOW, May 5. /TASS/. A delegation of the Russian Federation Council’s foreign affairs committee will hold a joint session with Norwegian lawmakers in mid-June, Konstantin Kosachyov, the committee’s head, said on Thursday at a meeting with Swedish ambassador Peter Ericson.
The senator also expressed regret that Sweden has frozen all contacts with Russia, including parliamentary ties.
According to Kosachyov,, he "offered his Swedish colleagues to hold a joint session of foreign affairs committees this fall" during his visit to Stockholm.
"Such contact can be mutually beneficial," he said, adding that he is waiting for the answer from the Swedish colleagues.
