GROZNY, April 28. /TASS/. Chechnya’s acting leader Ramzan Kadyrov has described his republic as the sole place in the world that has wiped out terrorism.
"Chechnya is the sole place in the world where terrorism has been defeated. We’ve won the war against terrorists. We’ve cleaned up our land and we do not let them re-emerge again," Kadyrov said.
He recalled that just recently the situation in Chechnya was identical to the current one in Syria. "We had abu-walids, hattabs, abu-umars and others who knew the Russian language and military strategy perfectly. They were secret service agents, trained by experienced specialists. We defeated not just a handful of terrorists. We gained the upper hand over whole institutions - Western and European - that had trained them and that had devised a strategy of ruining Russia through Chechnya," Kadyrov said.
