MOSCOW, April 27. /TASS/. Sending US servicemen to Syria and their presence there is illegitimate, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov said on Wednesday.
Answering a corresponding question, Gatilov said: "Of course, it’s illegitimate. They do not have a mandate from the [Syrian] government."
On April 25 US President Barack Obama said that additional 250 military personnel will be sent to Syria to help local armed groups in fighting against terrorists.
