MOSCOW, April 21. /TASS/. The Kremlin has no information on the Syrian Air Force aircraft’s strikes against the province of Idlib, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told journalists on Thursday.
"I cannot comment and I don’t have information on how much these accusations correspond to reality," Peskov said in reply to a question about whether Russia had held any contacts with Syrian President Bashar Assad on this score.
"I believe that our military can best of all comment on this," the Kremlin spokesman said.
Unconfirmed reports said earlier that an air strike on a district in the town of Maarrat al-Nu’man in the province of Idlib killed over 40 people. The United States blamed the Syrian authorities for the air strike and accused them of breaching the truce.
