MOSCOW, April 2. /TASS/. Debates of participants of Russia’s ruling United Russia party’s intraparty preliminary vote (primaries) to select candidates for State Duma elections are starting Saturday.
Each weekend until May 15, the candidates will debate the most important topics, which should later, during the election campaign, help them in their contacts with opponents.
Debates and campaign events are compulsory for primaries participants’ access directly to the preliminary vote that will be held across the country May 22.
