CEC member Sergey Sirotkin proposed himself for the post of the Central Election Commission chief

MOSCOW, March 28. /TASS/. The candidature of Ella Pamfilova, Russia’s former commissioner for human rights, has been nominated for the post of head of the Russian Central Election Commission.

"I propose the candidature of Ella Alexandronva Pamfilova for the post of the CEC head," CEC member Boris Ebzeyev said on Monday.

CEC member Sergey Sirotkin proposed himself for the post of the Central Election Commission chief. "I would like to propose myself as a candidate," he said.

Previously, a counting commission was formed, comprising Siyabakh Shapiyev, Alexander Klyukin and Yevgeny Shevchenko, for the election of the CEC head.
