MOSCOW, March 24. /TASS/. Talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and visiting US Secretary of State John Kerry lasted for four hours.
Taking part in the meeting was also Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. Earlier on Thursday, he met with John Kerry for substantial talks that also lasted four hours.
In his opening remarks at the talks with the US state secretary, Putin expressed hope that his visit to Moscow would help bring closer positions of Moscow and Washington on key issues.
The talks were held behind closed doors.
