MOSCOW, March 17. /TASS/. US State Secretary John Kerry will pay a visit to Russia next week, Russian Foreign Ministry’s official spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told a briefing on Thursday.
"We are expecting John Kerry to visit us next week," Zakharova said. "The visit will take place on the initiative of the US side. We will later inform on concrete dates," she added.
"Talks are planned with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov," the diplomat noted. "First of all, the issue of Syrian settlement will be discussed. Such issues as the situation in the Middle East and North Africa, relevant issues on the bilateral agenda will be discussed as well," she added.
The concrete date of the visit is being coordinated, Zakharova said.
