MOSCOW, March 14. /TASS/. Reports about a verbal conflict between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Ukrainian counterpart Pavlo Klimkin at the Normandy Four ministerial meeting in Paris on March 3 are "a fantasy of Ukrainian journalists," Russian Foreign Ministry’s official spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Monday.

"This is another fantasy of Ukrainian journalists. There really was a discussion, and there were arguments on both sides. I cannot say that the sides did not express annoyance on several matters but, of course, everything was in the framework of diplomatic talks. Arguments were followed by arguments," Zakharova told LifeNews in an interview.

"Such reports, insinuations about fights or anything similar should remain on the conscience of those who is distributing them. Of course, nothing even close happened," she added.
