Russia, Azerbaijan leaders discuss Syria, economic ties — Kremlin

MOSCOW, February 25./TASS/. In a telephone conversation on Thursday, Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev discussed topical issues of trade and economic relations as well as the Syrian settlement, the Kremlin press service reports.

"The leaders exchanged opinions on the Syrian settlement, emphasizing the importance of implementation of the Joint Statement of the Russian Federation and the United States on Cessation of Hostilities in Syria," it said.
