MUNICH, February 11. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has arrived in Munich.
Later on Thursday he will take part in a meeting of the International Syria Support Group (ISSG). Lavrov’s agenda also includes participation in the events within the framework of the Munich Security Conference that will be held from February 12 to February 14.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova told a press briefing on Wednesday that a number of meetings were expected to be held on the sidelines of the conference with the participation of Russia’s top diplomat. A meeting of the Quartet of international mediators for Middle East settlement is planned as well.
