MOSCOW, February 9. /TASS/. A visit to Moscow of European Union’s foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini is being studied, Russia’s EU ambassador Vladimir Chizhov told Tass on Tuesday.
He said the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy was due to shortly meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Munich.
"A session of the Middle East Quartet (United Nations, EU, Russia and the United States), as well as a meeting of the International Syria Support Group will be held on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference due on February 12-14," Russia’s permanent representative to the European Union said. "So they will have an opportunity to speak," he noted.
"As to when Mogherini will come to Moscow, I don’t know so far, we are working on this," he added.
