MOSCOW, February 4 /TASS/. Russia has made a diplomatic representation to Ukraine’s Charge d’Affaires in Moscow over a border incident involving Russian officers from the Joint Control and Coordination Center (JCCC), Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova told a briefing on Thursday.
"The Russian Foreign Ministry has summoned Ukraine’s Charge d’Affaires to make a diplomatic representation over a border incident that took place at the Gotovka-Nekhoteyevka checkpoint on the Russian-Ukrainian border," Zakharova said.
"It is about an absolutely disgusting and shameful behavior of Ukraine’s law enforcers who were checking a group of Russian officers from the Joint Control and Coordination Center (JCCC), who were returning to Russia as part of planned rotation, for 16 hours," the diplomat said.
