MOSCOW, February 4. /TASS/. The German authorities have failed to provide information on the investigation into the incident with a girl from Russia who has been sexually abused, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said on Thursday.

"The foreign ministers of Russia and Germany have discussed this issue [the conversation took place a week ago - TASS]. We heard assurances from the German side that no data would be withheld and all information would be provided through diplomatic channels, since we are talking about an underage citizen of Russia," Zakharova said.

"A week has elapsed. No information has been provided through diplomatic channels. We hope that the assurances will not remain just assurances," Zakharova said.
