MOSCOW, February 3. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold a meeting with former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Wednesday.
"Today friendly dialogue between Putin and Kissinger will continue in Moscow," Peskov said, adding that they have long-lasting relations and always keep in touch.
"Putin praises this opportunity to discuss current issues of foreign policy and opinion exchange on the prospects for further developments," Peskov said.
According to the Kremlin spokesman, on Wednesday Putin will hold talks with Horst Seehofer, the prime minister of the German federal land of Bavaria.
"It is an important meeting to continue the dialogue with German partners paying special attention to trade and economic relations," he said, adding that despite all the restrictions and a number of downfalls in Moscow-Berlin ties "economic relations are of great importance for Russia and other foreign trade partners of Germany."
