MOSCOW, January 29. /TASS/. Russia is France’s strategic partner. The two countries have a lot of projects to implement this year, French Ambassador to Russia Jean-Maurice Ripert said on Friday.
"Russia is France’s strategic partner," he said at a reception at the embassy. "Ministers will pay visits this year, we will announce a lot of projects."
"In 2015, the presidents of our countries spoke 24 times," the French diplomat noted, adding that this fact demonstrated that allegations that "we have no dialogue" were not true.
Touching on the Ukrainian conflict, Ripert said certain difficulties still remained on the path of settlement. "There is no alternative to Minsk-2. We must continue our efforts," he stressed.
