More than 20 children to be airlifted from Donbas to Moscow for treatment

Last year 224 children with injuries were delivered by Russian Emergencies Ministry aircraft for treatment and rehabilitation

MOSCOW, January 28. /TASS/. The Russian Emergencies Ministry is planning to evacuate more than 20 seriously wounded children from Ukraine’s Donetsk and Luhansk regions in the coming days, First Deputy Emergencies Minister Vladimir Stepanov has told TASS.

"Another evacuation of children is scheduled for February 5, 20 children will be brought to Moscow for treatment," Stepanov said.

According to him, last year 224 children with injuries were delivered by Russian Emergencies Ministry aircraft for treatment and rehabilitation. "All of them have received necessary treatment, some have undergone rehabilitation, and some others are completing their treatment," he added.
