Russian PM approves business support monitoring rules

The results will be included in the company’s annual report and sent to the lower and upper houses of parliament

MOSCOW, December 26. /TASS/. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has signed an instruction to approve small and midsized business support monitoring regulations, and a relevant document has been posted on the cabinet’s website.

Monitoring will be carried out by the Federal Corporation for Development of Small and Midsized Entrepreneurship.

The results will be included in the company’s annual report and sent to the lower and upper houses of parliament - the State Duma and the Federation Council, the government, as well as to the president.

The monitoring aims to ensure effective support to small and midsized business entities and organizations. The introduction of such measures will make it possible to assess the quality and efficiency of support rendered to small and medium businesses, as well as the efficiency of such support use by entities.

The corporation’s tasks also include drafting proposals on improvement of measures to support and boost its efficiency.

"The corporation conducts monitoring on the basis of information received from federal bodies of executive power vested with separate powers on development of small and medium entrepreneurship, and from Federation constituent members’ executive power bodies authorized to interact with the corporation in the sphere of small and medium entrepreneurship development," the document states.
