"We are pleased to welcome you and appreciate the opportunity to discuss a number of international issues," the minister said. "Our presidents have discussed the problems of effectively fighting against terrorism several times over the past several months."
"On this way, questions persist, which need to be solved in the context of further work in the International Syria Support Group," Lavrov said. "The issue of combating terrorism is broader than the Syrian crisis, I’ve returned from the conference on Libya, where terrorism sprouts up as well. IS operates in Iraq, there are manifestations in Yemen and Afghanistan."
"We hope that today we will be able to discuss this issue comprehensively," he added.
