MOSCOW, December 12. /TASS/. Russia is ready for cooperation with political forces, which exist in Venezuela now, head of the Latin American Department at the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexander Schetinin said commenting on results of the parliamentary elections, confirming victory of the opposition.
"As for Russia, our position is that our cooperation is of mutual benefit," he said. "It is in line with the economic and humanitarian interests both of Russia and of Venezuela."
The diplomat confirmed the Russian side "is ready to observe the agreements between governments or between certain economic subjects."
"We are ready to continue cooperation with the real political forces, which now exist in the country," he said. "Now continues the period of forming leaders of the National Assembly. We, of course, will analyse attentively the political line, which the parliament will follow, and the balance of forces, which will exist in the country.".
