Russian prime minister in live TV broadcast to analyse outgoing year

This year’s large interview with Medvedev will be aired for the eighth time

MOSCOW, December 9. /TASS/. Russia’s Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev will participate on Wednesday in a television program "Conversation with Dmitry Medvedev."

He will sum up the results of the outgoing year and speak about the plans for the future, answering questions from reporters of several Russian television channels.

The program will last for about one hour and a half, press secretary Natalya Timakova said. The prime minister will focus on "the most topical economic issues - on budget policy, the work amid sanctions and plans on import replacement."

The prime minister will answer the questions of TV presenters Irada Zeynalova (Channel One), Sergey Brilev (VGTRK), Kirill Pozdnyakov (NTV), Mikhail Fishman (Dozhd) and Elizaveta Osetinskaya (RBC).

The first interview of this kind was given by Medvedev on December 24, 2008 when he served as Russia’s president. This year’s large interview with Medvedev will be aired for the eighth time.
