Russian deputy PM to hold meeting of state commission on Arctic development

The agenda also includes implementation of President Vladimir Putin’s instructions on implementation of Russia’s state policy in the Arctic

ST. PETERSBURG, December 7. /TASS/. Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin will hold an on-site meeting of the state commission on Arctic development in St. Petersburg, Rogozin’s secretariat reported.

It said the meeting will focus on implementation of the strategy of development of the Russian Federation’s Arctic zone and ensuring national security until 2020.

The agenda also includes implementation of President Vladimir Putin’s instructions on implementation of Russia’s state policy in the Arctic.
