Russia and Georgia discuss joint efforts to fight terrorism — diplomat

MOSCOW, November 20 /TASS/. Russia and Georgia have discussed interaction in fighting terrorism, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin told TASS on Friday after meeting Zurab Abashidze, the Georgian prime minister’s special representative for relations with Russia.

"Yes. We have had the general discussion of these issues without going into particulars," Karasin said.

"We noted that our security services accumulated fairly good experience during the Olympic Games (in Sochi). Perhaps, we should continue to develop this practice," the deputy foreign minister explained.
