Putin has a brief conversation with Obama before G20 summit

Putin and Obama had a full-format meeting in late September in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly

ANTALYA, November 15. /TASS/. Russia's President Vladimir Putin has a brief conversation with the US President Barack Obama before G20 summit began on Sunday.

Before the first working session, prior to which is a working breakfast, all heads of the delegations came to the photo ceremony. Vladimir Putin on the way to his place shook hands with Barack Obama. They also exchanged some words. As the ceremony was over, the leaders went to the working breakfast.

Putin and Obama had a full-format meeting in late September in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly. That was their first meeting face-to-face over two years.

Aide to the Russian president, Yuri Ushakov, said earlier Putin and Obama had not planned a meeting during the G20 summit, though could not rule out their contacts on the sidelines.
