Putin discusses Sevastopol’s development with city governor

MOSCOW, October 29. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the social and economic development of Sevastopol with the governor of the Crimean port city late on Wednesday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said.

"During the conversation, the topical issues of social and economic development of this Russian subject were discussed," the presidential spokesman told reporters on Thursday.

Sevastopol Governor Sergey Menyaylo told the president about the effort on providing children with access to education.

The sides also discussed the creation of a historic and cultural center of Christianity. Putin discussed the issue during his latest visit to Sevastopol, home to the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
