MOSCOW, October 28. /TASS/. The Kremlin is satisfied with the fact that the political dialogue on the Syrian settlement is in progress and welcomes the participation of all those who can help resolving the conflict.
"Dialogue is underway. Naturally, we [Russia] are committed to the expansion of this dialogue, to the participation in this dialogue of all countries that may contribute to the Syrian settlement, to the cause of the fight against terrorist and extremist groups," Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
He admitted that "at the moment we cannot be more specific." The Kremlin spokesman thus responded to a request to comment on the forthcoming talks in Vienna on the Syrian settlement on Friday, where Iran’s representatives had been invited.
