YALTA, October 23. /TASS/. Some 109 million Russians are expected to vote in the 2016 elections to the State Duma, the lower house of Russia’s parliament, deputy head of the Election Commission Leonid Ivlev said on Friday.
"The elections will involve some 109 million of voters currently registered in Russia," Ivlev said.
Employees at more than 95,000 polling stations across Russia will organize the elections, he added.
The State Duma elections are scheduled for September 18, 2016.
