Lavrov: Attitude before meeting with Kerry on Syria in Vienna constructive

The top diplomats will hold a meeting in Vienna on October 23 to discuss the situation in Syria and Middle East

SOCHI, October 22. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said attitude is constructive before the planned meeting with US State Secretary John Kerry on October 23 in Vienna.

"Our attitude is always constructive and based on international law," Lavrov said.

On October 23 Lavrov and Kerry will hold a meeting in Vienna. They plan to focus on the situation in Syria and Middle East. They will be joined by the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia and Turkey.

Earlier today, the foreign minister has arrived to the Valdai international discussion club. Lavrov is currently giving a speech in the format closed for the media.
