Terrorists in Syria are fighting each other - Russian defence ministry

"IS leaders demand from field commanders they use more often at roads and in settlements vehicles filled with explosives, thus aiming at the attacking Syrian armed forces."

MOSCOW, October 18. /TASS/. Terrorist groups in Syria have begun fighting each other: the Islamic State (IS) organised three terrorist attacks on field commanders of the Jabhat-an-Nusra, spokesman of the Russian Defence Ministry Major General Igor Konashenkov told reporters on Sunday.

He said the defence ministry has information about growing contradictions between various terrorist groups, which are caused by fighting for control over territories and money flows.

"According to intercepts, last week only IS organised near the city of Idlib three acts of terror using mined cars, aiming against field commanders of the Jabhat-an-Nusra," he said. "IS leaders demand from field commanders they use more often at roads and in settlements vehicles filled with explosives, thus aiming at the attacking Syrian armed forces.".
