Putin arrives in Kazakhstan to meet Nazarbayev and attend two summits

ASTANA, October 14 /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived for a two-day state visit in Astana, Kazakhstan, to meet Kazakhstani President Nursultan Nazarbayev and attend the summits of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.

Earlier on Wednesday, Putin visited the Vostochny cosmodrome, which is under construction in Russia’s Amur region.

Putin paid his last state visit to Turkey in December last year.
