MOSCOW, October 12. /TASS/. Moscow strongly condemns series of terrorist attacks in Chad, which killed some 40 people and injured more than 50 citizens, Russia’s Foreign Ministry said on Monday.
"According to the received information, on October 10 suicide bombers blew themselves up killing 40 people and injuring more than 50 people in western Chad locality and in a refugee camp," the ministry said.
Russia’s embassy in Chad’s capital N’Djamena reported no victims among Russian nationals.
Moscow "strongly condemns that bloody crime against civilians, which may be the responsibility of Nigeria’s extremist Boko Haram group, according to Chad’s authorities."
"We stress one more time the crucial importance of coordinating actions in struggling against international terrorist threat," the ministry said.
