MOSCOW, October 5. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will on Monday hold talks in Moscow with deputy premier, Foreign Minister of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Sisoulith is on a working visit to the Russian capital on October 4-6 on Lavrov’s invitation. His working program in Russia includes a speech in the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) as well as contacts with the most active members of the Russian-Laotian Friendship Society.
The Laotian top diplomat’s visit aims to further promote bilateral cooperation "in the political, trade-investment, military-technical and humanitarian spheres within the framework of the bilateral Declaration on Strategic Partnership in the Asia Pacific Region signed in October 2011.".
