US Kerry says he will meet with Russia’s Lavrov on Wednesday — media

Lavrov and Kerry have had two meetings on the sidelines of the current session of the United Nations General Assembly

UNITED NATIONS, September 29. /TASS/. US Secretary of State John Kerry said on Tuesday he was planning to meet with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov, on September 30.

"I’ll be meeting with Lavrov again tomorrow and we are looking for a way to try to get to a point where we can manage the transition [period in Syria] and have agreement on the outcome," Kerry told MSNBC TV channel.

Kerry and Lavrov have already held two meetings on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly and discussed the crisis in Syria, the Ukrainian problem, counter-terrorism and a number of international issues.
