MOSCOW, September 29. /TASS/. Russia’s Federal Air Transport Service, or Rosaviatsiya, has notified Ukrainian air companies about a ban on flights to Russia from October 25, 2015, the Rosaviatsiya press service said on Tuesday.
"At the instruction of the Russian ministry of transport and in line with the agreement on air service between Russia and Ukraine, the Federal Air Transport Agency has notified Ukrainian air carriers making or planning to make flights to Russia about a ban imposed on such flights from October 25, 2015," the press service said.
The ban came as a response to Ukraine’s ban on flights to that country for Russian companies also from October 25, 2015.
