Putin calls Russia’s isolation impossible, policy of sanctions inefficient

"Isolation of a country like Russia is simply impossible, just look at the geographic map," Putin said

UNITED NATIONS, September 29. /TASS/. President Vladimir Putin stresses the sanctions against Russia cannot be efficacious.

"We said from the very beginning the policy of sanctions and isolation doesn’t bring any effects in the world of nowadays in general and most typically it doesn’t reach the specified objectives," he said when a reporter asked him if the attempt to isolate Russia could be described as a failure.

"Isolation of a country like Russia is simply impossible, just look at the geographic map," Putin said.
